Members of the Pathfinder Parachute Group are currently encountering difficulties in covering the annual expenses related to participation in airborne operations at Arnhem and Normandy each year.
These challenges arise from the increasing costs associated with aircraft, equipment, accommodation, and transportation.
Our veterans typically incur expenses ranging from one to two thousand pounds per trip, while depending on a standard army pension.
The Pathfinder Parachute Group is actively working to reduce these costs, and any financial contribution, irrespective of the amount, would be greatly valued in supporting this effort.
Securing a sponsor has been a challenging endeavor, as we prioritise preserving the historic aesthetic that is central to our mission.
