Parachute Display Training Week
Pathfinders Parachute Group is teaming up with Ally Milne, a BS Instructor Examiner and Display Team Leader, to facilitate a display training week at Skydive Hinton, during our round parachute currency week.
The training session is scheduled for the morning of 19th May 2026, followed by practical jumps in the afternoon, complete with debriefs and expert guidance for all participants.
Allan Hewitt, a BS Rigger Examiner with over 800 display jumps to his credentials, will provide an overview of the various display flag sizes ranging from 200 sq ft to 5,000 sq ft to illustrate the potential for event organisers.
Our 200 sq ft Parachute Regiment Flag and our 500 sq ft Union Flag will be available for jumping from Tuesday to Friday.
Additionally, we will present the larger flags to demonstrate different deployment bags, safety design features, packing methods, and flying tips and tricks.
The objective of this event is to train and qualify C License skydivers for participation in UK parachute displays in accordance with the BS Operations Manual.
We also invite successful candidates to join Pathfinder Parachute Group in Normandy jumping from a Dakota aircraft, in celebration of our annual memorial events.
The registration fee is £65, and the costs per jump will align with the standard jump rates at Skydive Hinton.
If you are interested, please complete the registration form below and submit the registration fee.
