Disclaimer – We strive to provide comprehensive information concerning parachute associations and insurance companies to support our members and guests.

However, we do not provide specific recommendations and advise you to conduct your own research. PPG disclaims any liability for decisions made based on this information.

We also recommend that when booking travel and accommodation, you consider including cancellation insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather, mechanical failures, or other events that may impede the scheduled activity.

Pathfinders membership is from 1st January to 31st December. Application for membership is only open in January.

Non-members are encouraged to participate in our events, although they are not eligible for membership discounts.

Members and guests are also required to demonstrate their membership with a recognised national parachute association such as BS, KNVvL, PAI, etc.

Certain parachute associations include third-party liability insurance that covers parachuting activities.

If your parachute association does not offer liability insurance during round parachuting activities, you will need to obtain separate personal liability insurance.

Travel insurance companies offer coverage, that includes parachuting and third party liability.

INSUREANDGO and JS Travel Insurance are two such companies; however, both exclude their third-party liability during parachuting activities.

AXA Versicherung AG provides liability insurance during parachute activities for individuals who own their own equipment. The annual policy costs €80 which includes certain extras. Complete the form and email the company.

Sports Cover Direct offer travel insurance, or just an add-on personal liability option, to support your existing travel insurance company.

Insure 4 Sport offers personal liability insurance, during parachuting activities. The annual policy starts from £32 for the UK and Europe.

The total annual cost for PAI membership and Insure 4 Sport amounts to £71.

This offers the most favorable option for individuals who do not regularly engage in sport skydiving, which might provide covered under their normal policy.

Certain parachute centres, such as Skydive Teuge, require evidence of £3 million in parachute liability insurance. The UK requires 5 million which is an option with Insure 4 Sport

The Parachute Association of Ireland offers a competitively priced annual membership fee of 45 euros. Membership is valid from 1st January to 31st December and can be purchased throughout the year.
